I'm on Word X SR 1 for Mac, OS 10.3.9 on a PowerBook
I've changed styles Heading 1, Heading 2, and Heading 3 to include "Outline
Numbered" using the legal format (1., 1.1, 1.1.1, etc.). The numbering
levels are linked to the respective headings.
The numbering on Heading 1 and Heading 2 are working fine. However, the
numbering on Heading 3 insists on ALWAYS starting at 1.1.1. Regardless of
the preceding numbered paragraph. In other words, I get this
1. Cars
1.1 Sedans
1.2 Convertibles
1.3 Sports Cars
1.1.1 Corvette
1.1.2 Mazda Miata
2. Planes
2.1 Commercial planes
2.2 Private planes
1.1.1 Piper cub
1.1.2 Cessna
This is driving me crazy. I've checked all the options and can't figure out
why it is doing this.
Help!!??
NOTE: Reverse name and domain to reach me by email
