Outlook 2000 assigned tasks no longer have update list

I recently upgraded to a new PC. Before installing the new PC, I backed up Outlook using the Oulook Backup Addin. I imported my backup into the new PC and all of the tasks no longer have the original assignee in the update list. Therefore, any updates I make to the tasks, my supervisor is not being informed of these updates. Any suggestions??
