Outlook 2000 Attachments

Bill

Suddenly, I can not open, save, or send attachments in
Outlook 2000. I receive the following error message:

"Cannot [save, open or attach] the attachment. Can't
create the [filename]. Right click the folder you want to
create the file in, and then click Properties on the
shortcut menu to check permissions for the folder"

I am not sure what they are referring to when they refer
to "the folder". When trying to send a file, I have
checked the source folder properties and every thing seems
OK. Same with the destination folder when I am trying to
save an attachemnt without opening it firt. I also have
checked the temp folder settings and they seem fine.

I havechecked my security settings in Outlook Security tab
and that seems OK also. Additionally, I can forward the
attachment to another e-mail client (like Yahoo) and then
I can open, save and send attachments fine.

Any suggestions?

TIA

I am having the same problem with new users setup on our network but
established users are fine with the same installation on the machine so
my conclusion is it has to be something related to permissions.
