Outlook 2000 cannot retrieve pop3 message on LAN connection

Dear Newsgroup member,
I have fresh install Windows XP home edition on Fujitsu
notebook together with Outlook 2000 program.

I connect my notebook to Ethernet network and I can access
to Internet via Internet connection sharing on another
computer as gateway.

I have configure (test) pop3 and smtp account setting for
outlook. When I try to download email from pop3 mail
server, it appear message sound as "some message couldn't
retrieve from server..." but I able to send out email via
same connection. After this I disconnect my notebook from
network and using dial up access, this time my email can
be recceive from pop3 mail server and send out as well.

When I re-configure another (test2) pop3 and smtp setting,
it can receive and send email via LAN connection.

When I configure (test) account on Internet connection
sharing gateway computer, it can receive and send messages
as well.

I try to look for similiar problem that post on newsgroups
but I cannot locate one at this moment.

If you have any solution or suggestion, please share with
me.
