Outlook 2000 do not connect to exchange server

Hi,

after installing a backup on a new machine outlook do not
connect to the exchange server. It looks like that there
is no network communication after starting outlook. The
LAN Icon shows no packages send.

Are there any ideas why outlook will not connect to the
LAN and the exchange server ?
