outlook 2000 error

I downloaded the patch for the blaster virus along with
other "critical" files and now outlook gives me an OLE
error. I tried to reinstall and it doesn't work still. I
tried the SR1 patch and at the end of the download wanted
the data1.msi file off of disc. I inserted the disc and
it still would accept that file as the right one. That's
where i am now. I can't get Dell or Microsoft on the
phone or email, so this is my last shot.
