Outlook 2000 - Order tasks by priority

Does anyone know if its possible to order my task list by a priority number?

In other words, i'd like to be able to give the task i'm currently working on a priority of 1, and the next task a priority of 2, the next 3, etc...

Also, if the boss comes in (as he usually does) and says, "right drop everything, i need you to do this now", then i can add a new task, give it a priority of 1, and my existing tasks all get their priorities incremented by one.

I'd also like to be able to specify how long (in days/hours) i think each task will take. This would then automatically set the start and finish dates of the tasks, dependant on its priority.

For example, as todays date is Tuesday 25th November 2003: -

Task Description
Priority
Days Work
Start Date
Finish Date

Task 1
1
2
Tues 25/11/03
Weds 26/11/03

Task 2
2
1
Thurs 27/11/03
Thurs 27/11/03

Task 3
3
2
Fri 28/11/03
Mon 01/12/03

Then the boss comes in and says right drop everything, i want this done now!! And this new task is going to take 4 days. So i'd like to be able to add a new task 0, which in turn amends the priorities of the existing tasks and their corresponding start & finish dates. For example: -

Task Description
Priority
Days Work
Start Date
Finish Date

Task 0
1
4
Tues 25/11/03
Fri 28/11/03

Task 1
2
2
Mon 01/12/03
Tues 02/12/03

Task 2
3
1
Wed 03/12/03
Wed 03/12/03

Task 3
4
2
Thurs 04/12/03
Fri 05/12/03

It'd also be useful if the boss has access to my task list and can add tasks and amend priorities where he sees fit. A Gannt chart that i can print off would be useful too (i know i can use the Task Timeline, but its not very good)

Is this something i'd have to program myself, or does anyone know if someones made an add-in already?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
