Outlook 2000 runs at start up

OK, I must be losing my touch. Outlook currently starts
when I startup my compaq laptop. I don't want it to and I
can't figure out how to change it. My operating system is
Windows XP Home Edition. Any suggestions would be
helpfull, even embarassingly easy ones.
