Outlook 2000 with SP 3 cannot open shortcut Item in email

Hi,

recently, i have installed sp3 for outlook 2000. Thereafter, i am not able
to open shortcut items when others send me an email with an attached shortcut
to a Post Item in the public folders.

Is there anyway i can overcome this problem?

We are using exchange 2000 with windows 2000.
