Machine is a Dell Optiplex P4, Windows XP Pro, Gigabit LAN, Dell Red Hat (Linux) mail server using SendMail.
In Outlook 2000 (Office 2000 Pro):
1. Compose new mail.
2. Click "Send" button in the tool bar.
3. Message goes to the Outbox, and stays there.
4. Can only complete the send operation if "Send/Recieve" is clicked. If this last action is not executed, the outgoing message will stay in the Outbox forever.
It's obviously seeing the server.
What am I missing?
