outlook 2000

let me apologies for the simplicity of the question before
I pose it.

I want to start using outliook as my default e-mail
handler (from yahoo). I went through the wizard and when
it asked me for a POP3 ?? account name etc. i never had a
clue.

How do i get outlook to go to yahoo and import my mail? I
know I should know but you probably don't know how to
plate a broken tibia. (neither do I)

Yahoo doesn't provide the POP service for free anymore -- you have to
subscribe to it. See http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/pop-02.html for
more information (you may need to log into your Yahoo mail account to get to
that page).
