Outlook 2001
I would like to connect Outlook 2001 with a remote exchange server, using
VPN via Netlock software. The secure connection with VPN is already
established, but it is not possible to connect Outlook with the exchange
server. When I try to set up the Outlook profile and test it, the answer is
always negative.
I pinged the network successfully using OTTool and configured TCP/IP with
the displayed DNS. In the newsgroup I read something about a "Host file"
that might be crucial in the set up of the connection, but I don't know what
it is or how to use it or whether this file is a clue to my connection
problems.
