Outlook 2002 and dialer

I'm just switching to Outlook from Express, and it has one small quirk that
I can't seem to master: after downloading mail, it goes offline, even if I
have something else going on, such as a download in IE. I have checked
tools/options/send and receive and don't see a reason for it to shut down.
I'm using ADSL and XP PRO.

From the define send/receive settings dialog, choose Account Setting dialog
and check the connection tab for the account. Try using IE's dialer option,
not phone line.
