outlook 2002 and word 2000

My Ipaq PDA has outlook 2002 installed. It would not sync
with the Outlook 2000 installed on the computer. I
uninstalled Outlook 2000 and installed 2002 from the Ipaq
CD. Now I can only locate a read-only file on Outlook
2002 showing the installation sequence (which appears to
be successful). There is no icon on the desktop and does
not show in programs. Ipaq still will not sync with
Outlook. I am wondering if a 2002 version of Outlook will
not work with Word 2000. The Ipaq synchronized with
everything until I installed Office 2000.
