Outlook 2002 - Can Read but not Send Emails

I have a computer specific problem. The user has Outlook
Xp. Connecting over a vpn. He can get to his mailbox
with no problems. He read his mails just fine but when he
tries to no sent email either new or reply. He just
getting that requesting data message. We have uninstall
and reinstall. Deleted the microsoft office directory.
Same problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We had something similar to this happen. We just had our
outgoing STMP address incorrect. make sure that your ISP
doesn't require theirs as the outgoing.
