Outlook 2002 - Changing from workgroup to internet only

M

Maurice Bishop

I am very familiar with how to do this in previous versions of Outlook.

However, under Outlook 2002 and 2003, it is not obvious.

Can anyone help me?

TIA

That's because it's not there. Outlook 2002 has only one configuration mode.

I understand.

There appears to be an operational distinction between the two modes.

e.g. Searching through contacts when creating a new email message.

I have a user who has been using the Internet mode. He had a crash and I
incorrectly reinstalled him with Corportate/workgroup mode. He wants
Internet mode back and I don't know how to change it back.

Repeating: There is no Internet Mail mode in Outlook 2002, nor any
Corporate/Workgroup mode. If the user needs an Internet account, add it in
Tools | E-mail Accounts.
