Outlook 2002 crashes when opening Hotmail email

I have Outlook 2002 and have added a hotmail email
account (I have an ADSL broadband connection). When I try
to open any email in the hotmail account, Outlook says it
has detected an error and the application restarts. This
is very odd because I can reply and forward to the emails
without any problem but I cannot seem to open the emails
(or view them in the preview pane) without the
application crashing.

Any help on this one?
