Outlook 2002 - Emails being autodeleted

Has anyone ever heard of this? I have a user who swears that emails are
being autodeleted. There is no pattern amongst the files that are being
deleted. Autoarchive is not activated, there are no rules set, the spam
filter does not have any names added to it. Anyone out there have any ideas?
