Outlook 2002 LAN email problem

Outlook 2002 works fine when I dial up. When connected to
the Internet through LAN, I can receive, but not send
messages. No clue what is going on!!

You need to change your SMTP server to the one that is used on the LAN (ISP
usually). Or you need to enable SMTP authentication in Outlook if your
dial-up smpt server allows this.


For example, at work I use mail.smtpserver.com for my smtp server
at home I have to change my SMTP server to mail.charter.net.
