Outlook 2002 Locks Up

Within my Active Directory environment I have two DC's
within each site. Both DC's are Global Catalogs for
redundancy, specifically for Exchange 2000.
Theoretically if one of the DC's were to go down, users
should not be impacted. However, when downing a DC,
users that are in Outlook 2002 lockup and have to do
the "End Now" procedure for Outlook. After relaunching
it, everything is fine. Anyone have any ideas on why
this occurs??
