Outlook 2002 - Loses Password

M

Michael Samsen

Each time Outlook 2002 send/receives, it prompts me for my password, even
though I check the "save password" box. How can I make it save the
password??

Thanks!

For all Outlook versions on Windows XP (just ignore the parts that refer to
Outlook Express):

For in a NT domain

Note that you also get prompted for a password when Outlook can't connect to
the server when it's down.

Thank you. I tried the fix under Windows XP (I am running XP Professional),
assuming that your note meant that I was to ignore the fact that the page
says for Outlook Express only. Unfortunately the problem persists. Any
other ideas???

Can Outlook connect succesfully when you entered the password and does it
send and receive mail then? Just to make sure that there isn't a problem
with your mailserver.
