Outlook 2002 - /regserver switch not working

S

Stacey

If I go to Start | Run and type in Outlook /regserver, I
will get an error message of "Cannot start Microsoft
Outlook. The command line argument is not valid. Verify
the switch you are using"

If I perform the same command, except substitute outlook
with winword, it works fine.

I will also get the same message if I use
outlook /unregserver.

Any ideas?

Although that switch is still listed the .SRG file for Outlook that would be
required isn't included in the Outlook installation. So forget about those
switches. The best you can do is run the repair function from Help, Detect
and Repair or from Add/Remove Programs or to uninstall.
