Outlook 2002

Hi Good People,

After reinstalling all programmes, and running Outlook, I can see my email
and contacts. However if I am composing a new email Outlook won't allow me
to search my contacts for the email address using Alt K.

I think I have had this problem before, but can't find what the fix was.

Does anyone know?

right click the Contacts folder and then permissions, one of the Tabs
enables you to show this folder as an Outlook address book. I think that's
what you need to do for 2002.

Hi Good People, from the Outlook address book see MS Outlook Help"

When I right click on Contacts, Properties, Contact Properties, the name of
the folder is correctly set at Contacts, and the box ticked says "Show this
folder as an email adress book". That seems all OK.

When I try to access Contacts from within an email I get the following
message, "The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder
associated with this address listcould not be opened, it may have been moved
of deleted, or you do not have permissions. For Information on how to
remove this folder from the Outlook Address Book se MS Outlook Help"

Well, I don't want to remove it. It is all there under Contacts, but from
within email, I can't access it.

Hi Christian,

That worked! I was afraid that by deleting the address book I would
actually lose it.

Thanks again

The address book is just a view into your Contacts folder. It actually
contains nothing.
