Situation:
Laptop with Outlook 2003 installed. It is used at home and work. There
are 2 outlook profiles in use.
Profile 1 (The @work profile)
Two e-mail accounts
#1 Exchange Server Work Accoutn
#2 POP Personal ISP email
Profile 2 (The @home profile)
Two e-mail aacounts
#1 POP to the exchange server in the 1st Profile
#2 POP personal ISP email
Error 0x80040201 occurs when PROFILE 2 is in use (IE the boss is at
home) and she replies to or forwards any mail that was delivered while
PROFILE 1 was in use earlier in the day ---===AND===--- the email was
created by another member of the domain/exchange server address list.
Now I looked at the error code returns for that error which I believe
state an EntryID is missing or corrupted.
I'm no programmer, but to me it seems that OUTLOOK is trying to maybe
obtain the GAL from the exchange server to verify the address used in
the reply or forward.
The boss doesn't want to have to connect to the VPN to check email so
that fix is out....
