Outlook 2003 and Word as email editor

I haved installed Outlook 2003 and am using WordXP.
Outlook does not let me open word as the email editor nor
can I create a new file in Word using the Email
template. Help!!!

You cannot do this unless your versions of Outlook and Word are the same.
