Outlook 2003 and x.400 mail account

I'm trying to use Outlook 2003 as my mail client with an x.400 account. It
works with other clients (e.g. Office 97), but in 2003, when I hit
send/receive, it hangs and does nothing.

The x.400 settings are correct; when I click Test Connect it successfully
connects to the message store.

If I go into Outlook 97 to receive mail, it will show up when I run Outlook
2003.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
