Outlook 2003 attachments

I have Office 2003 sp3 installed on a Windows Vista business laptop when you
open an email with an attachment and close it when you try to open it again
you get an error (Operation Failed) any Ideas.

have you emptied the securetemp cache?

I have the EXACT same problem, but I' ve narrowed it down to attaching
embedded emails or vcards. I can clear the cache and when I open the
attachment the first time, I can see it appear in the temp folder. When I
close it, the file goes away. But, when I attemtp to open the attachement
again, I get the "the operation failed" message and the file never shows up
in the temp folder. If I go out of Outlook, then open it again, the
attachment works the same way - just once.

We are haviing the same exact problem with embedded mail attachments. Did you
ever get a resolution to this?
