Outlook 2003 Cache Mode

When Outlook 2003 is first run in cache mode, messages are copied from
"oldest to newest".

I need to copy messages from "newest to oldest". I have some large
mailboxes and some slow links and it's important to have the newest items
available as soon as possible.
Is there a registry setting (or something in the Office .MST, or Outlook
PRF) that I can change?

Any info much appreciated, thanks.
