Outlook 2003 can't remember my shortcuts

How do I get my Outlook to remember the shortcuts I create? After I restart
Outlook they are gone!

In the Sortcuts Navigation? Sounds like your Navigation Pane has become
corrupted. Start Outlook with the /resetnavpane switch

No, that is the way it is. I've tried it several machines with 2k3. Try to
create a shortcut and see if it is still there when you restart Outlook.

We are talking about Shortcuts in the Shortcuts Navigation right? These
should most definitely stick otherwise it would have no purpose ;-)

The corruption seems to happen more often when you did an upgrade of Outlook
instead of a clean install. Starting with the /resetnavpane switch shout fix
it.

Also, delete the FAV file it's in the C:\Documents and
Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder.

Thanks, but there is no FAV file. I created a shortcut, searched for the file
and it does not exist. This is driving me crazy.

Never mind. I did it a few more times on the fresh install and hey...it is
working. Now to go and try it on the problem pc!
