Outlook 2003 - CiceroWndFrame Error

Joe Gazda

I just upgraded from Office XP Pro to Office 2003 Pro with all updates
downloaded and installed, running Symantec Internet Security 2004. After
opening Outlook 2003, when I go to shutdown my Windows XP Pro standalone
computer, I get a message that CiceroWndFrame is not responding, do you want
to end now? Can I eliminate this problem?

Thanks,

It appears that the "CiceroUIWndFrame" program is part of the Voice and
Handwriting recognition part of Office 2003. I removed those components
using Add/Remove programs, but two instances on Outlook 2003 open when I use
the Start Menu shortcut. When I try to exit Windows XP pro, now it displays
a meesage that Outlook.exe is not responding.

On a hunch, I disabled the Norton Anti-Spam portion of Norton Internet
Security 2004. Now, when the one copy of Outlook 2003 is closed, the taskbar
icon also closes. No more error messages at the Windows XP exit. I will
notify Symantec (Norton) of my findings.
