Outlook 2003 Constantly Fails

Outlook 2003 constantly fails or hangs .. anyone
experienced this problem? Know what the problem is?

Um, lack of any shred of information for troubleshooting perhaps?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Clarissa asked:

How about......

I hit the Send/Recieve button, my transfer status in the toolbar/tray at the
bottom of the sceen showing progress gets to 66%, stops, then after a while
the mail transfer times out.
I can use a web based mail program to delete all the spam from my mailbox,
then when I try the Send/Recieve thing again.....it works OK.

I don't even have to hit the Send/Recieve, happens on the regular schedule
too.

Do you have McAfee Internet Firewall? Is it configured to deny all programs
and you did not set an exception for Outlook? When you use the Test Account
Settings, what is the error message you get?

No, I'm running ZoneAlarm....have my paranoia level set to mid...and have
granted access and server permission to Outlook.
