Outlook 2003 - Duplicate Email Issue

I am replacing our home computer and in the process have put Outlook 2003 on
it (old computer as Outlook 2000). This PC has all its email accounts set
to "Leave on Server" as we download master copies at the office.

As part of my configuration, I have an number of subfolders in my Inbox
(INBOX\Work for example). I have RULES that move messages into these
folders automatically.

I am finding that all emails in my INBOX folder itself are behaving ok, but
any email directed to subfolders via rules are duplicating. Outlook 2000
would correctly recoginize I had already downloaded the message and not
"redownload" it a second time.

Any help appreciated...

Think I got this figured out.

I had imported a PST that I made from the old computer (OL2000) that
included Contacts, Tasks, Inbox, the works. When I set up OL2003, it did
not figure out I had the messages already (by importing them from the PST)
and downloaded them from the server. There were alot of them (hundreds -
busy weekend) so I had cancelled the process when I saw dupliation, thus I
kept getting duplication.

Once I let it go all the way thru once time, OL2003 stopped duplication.

Cheers...
