Eric
I have notice that my read receipts process inconsistently, some
process fairly quickly 10 minutes most never process at all, I wanted
to know if 1)Anyone else using Outlook 03 in Cached Exchange Mode is
having similar problems 2)If you have experienced it how did you fix
it?
This is what I have done so far:
Options Settings: I have Options set to automatically request read
rcpt, process read rcpt, and delete rcpts after processing.
In attempt to increase the reliability and speed in which this happens
I also created a rule to have all item with READ: in the subject line
to be marked as read. But this does not seem to have any effect.
The only way it seems to work fairly well is if I manually open the
read rcpt but it still takes a long time for the rcpts to process to
the tracking tab and to be deleted. I thought if I read the READ RCPT
the update to the tracking tab should be done in less than a minute.
I do not foresee my user community taking the time to manually open all
of their read rcpts to get this feature to work, so please let me know
if you know of any work arounds.
Is this another drawback of using the Cached Exchange Mode?
Thank you in advance
