Outlook 2003 installation

I received this error message, after installing office
2003 over office xp:

"a system component, rpc, required by Outlook to connect
to the e-mail server is not configured properly. For more
information, contact your system administrator"

What should I do? Any idea?

This is a wild guess, but open up regedit and go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Rpc\ClientProtocols

Do you have 4 or more values listed on the right?
