Outlook 2003 lost object?

I've installed Outlook 2003 successfully. I have set up the mail server
successfully. I can test the server successfully via the set up wizard.
When I attempt to send an e-mail from Outlook I get the following error
window:

"The operation failed. An object could not be found".

I have reinstalled and get the same error when sending. Any fix?

Installed it as an upgrade or clean on a new PC? Have you recreated the mail
profile already?
