Outlook 2003 messages disappear

I have an Exchange 2003 environment with Outlook 2003
clients. Occasionally, old messages in the inbox or
folders under the inbox lose the contents of the email.
Furthermore, the attachments to emails when opened come
up blank. This only occurs on older messages...as in two
weeks ago, etc. Has anyone come across this problem? The
systems are running in Exchange Cache mode also....
