Outlook 2003 pop email accounts won't login to incoming server

I can pull my office email at home on my pc no problem thru my comcast
account with different incoming & outgoing server names.

The problem is on my wifes pc. I have been trying to install the exact same
email account configuration only with her username and password on her pc.

The problem is after clicking the test email settings Outlook can locate the
incoming mail server but cannot login to it . I have tried it multiple times
and it wont login to the office server and keeps asking for the network
password and username which are already populated in the error window and are
correct.

I can go onto our offices Outlook internet webmail page and login with her
same username and password no problem and get mail.

I just cannot figure why the account in Outlook fails. I was thinking of her
password which is 4 digits and no letters and if that might affect Outlook
for some reason? I ran detect and repair as well and deleted all passwords in
internet explorer. The pc is clean and not infected as far as Mcafee, Adaware
and Spysweeper.

Any ideas? I am totally puzzled.
