Outlook 2003 process doesn't close

Hi there,

I'm having a somewhat annoying problem where when I go to
start Outlook 2003, it will open normally, but when I
close it, the window will disappear but the outlook.exe
process is still running. Then, if I go to open Outlook
again, a new process is started.

I just did a format/reinstall of Windows last weekend,
and I've had this problem ever since I put Office back on
my computer.

Any suggestions?
