Outlook 2003 Replies: no attachment references

Unless the email is in Rich Text format, Outlook 2003 excludes a reference to the original attachment (e.g., << File: spreadsheet.xls >> ) the way Outlook 2000 did. Can a setting be changed to effect this or is Rich Text the solution? Thanks.
