OUTLOOK 2003 "Signature for new messages" - default periodically reset to <none>

I have one (default) signature assigned in Outlook. Periodically
(maybe once every couple of weeks or so) the "Signature for new
messages" value gets reset to "<none>". I must go back in and change
the value back to "Default". Has anyone else experienced this problem?
