VPN user has been off VPN for a couple of weeks. Connects with the VPN and
tries to open Outlook. First time user tried to connect the archiving cranked
up. Then got the message:
"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook Window.
The set of folders could not be opened."
and can no longer open Outlook 2003.
I logged in locally and tried to duplicate the problem. When trying to
configure Outlook 2003, got:
"Unable to open your default e-mail folders. The Microsoft Exchange Server
computer is not available. Either there are network problems or the Microsoft
Exchange Server computer is down for maintenance."
Of course, the Exchange Server machine is not down and there are no network
problems.
User can access OWA, no problem.
