Outlook 2007 - Alarms do not work

None of my alarms go off, calendar or tasks. No errors pop up. I
have tried outlook.exe /cleanreminders and nothing changes. Any ideas
how I can fix this?

Are the items in your Calendar and Tasks folders in your default delivery
location (Exchange mailbox or PST file) or other folders? Normally reminders
are only fired out of those folders

Yes. my calendar and tasks are directly in my personal
folders,....ie. they are in the folder tree directly.
I thought maybe I should go through a full uninstall of Office
Ultimate and re-install. ??
This alarm problem really has me bugged,.....it appears there are a
lot of folks with alarm problems. Any ideas on a fix? I just don't
get why it should be so hard to find a solution on the net, especially
at MS' site. I have spent an inordinate amount of time searching for
the answer.
