I have roaming users in my network (WinXP). All are using Outlook 07 for the
first time (not upgrades). We use IMAP on our mail server (not an exchange
server). We have an issue that didn't occur with previous versions of
outlook. When a user sets up his account on the primary computer everything
works fine, but when that user signs on elsewhere and opens outlook he gets a
"Cannot find outlook.pst" error. Older versions of outlook would simply open
with all user settings intact and download mail from the IMAP server. Why do
we get this error with Outlook 07? I don't care if it creates a new .PST on
each local computer since all the mail is stored on the IMAP server, I just
don't want users to get this error. It effectively makes Outlook useless to
them on all but the primary computer they set up their account on.
