Outlook 2007 stops downloading after only one message.

Send/Receive would always download all the messages waiting to be downloaded.
Then it started only downloading 3 or 4 before stopping. Now it only
downloads one message at a time. What's happened and how can I fix it? I
can't figure it out.

Do you have any anti virus intergrated with outlook?
If so uninstall that AV then retest
Or; start outlook using the safe switch, ok then?

I uninstalled the AV program. No change. Outlook still only downloads one
message at a time before saying Send/Receive is complete.
I don't know how to start Outlook using the safe switch. Can you tell me
how I can do that?

Hold down the Ctrl key whilst starting outlook
Or
Run
Outlook.exe /safe
