Outlook 2007 with Exchange 2007 sp1.. Out of office cant be turned

Having a weird issue on one user's machine.. he is trying to turn off his out
of office message.. but when he goes to click on the out of office menu
option, outlook will goto not responding for about 1 minute, then come back
with an error related to unable to find server or communicate with server,
despite having a connection to the exchange server in the lower right
corner..



I have cached exchange mode on for the all users as well..



Any thoughts out there?
