Outlook 2007 with old versions of word

Hi everybody,

I have a litlle problem with outlook 2007. I am making a lab for the
deployment of outlook 2007 to update other versions of office. Only
updating the Outlook to work with exchange 2007.

The problem is with the preview of the messages with docs attached.
Outlook 2007 says that don´t have de controlers to preview the doc. The
doc. has been made in word XP and in the computer that iam opening have
word xp too.
Users maybe won't have permisses to go to the link that appear in the
error preview. Any idea?

Other thing, where can i configure what sort of document can be
previewed; docs, jpgs,pdfs,.... if it´s posible??

I have been doing tests and the problem is also with pdf's.

Ive tools \ trusted centers \ data processing attachments \ drivers
preview ....

And all this enabled by default. The 4 boxes preview: images,
documents, vcars ...

Any idea when this wonderful "preview"?

I have outlok in spanish so maybe the route is with other names

testing, I found that with the acrobat 8.1 there is no problem for
preview pdfs, but if you don't installed the office 2007 along with the
outlook 2007 you don't be able to preview docs...

We will continue with it ....

A new problem,....

I have been working with the deployment of outlook 2007 in old versions
of outlook 2000, 2002 and 2003.

but now someone tells me to upgrade from outlook 97 too,....¿What kind
of funcionalities don´t go?,... now i'll look for information because
this cause i hadn't contemplated.

If anyone knows about this upgrade,.....thanks!!!!
