Does Personal Folders Backup work for Outlook 2007? Does outlook 2007
still write to the PST file?

yes, I use the personal Folder Backup with OUTLOOK 2007 - works same way as
with previous versions.

Check the Microsoft download site - I believe you need a newer version which
may or may not be available. It's not my recommended method of backing up a
pst - I just copy the pst. And yes, 2007 uses a pst as older versions
do(unless you use exchange server).

Move your pst file to a folder under My Documents. Makes for easy backup
with your regular backup program.
