Outlook 2007b and HTML messages

I download all messages in plain text and then view in html those that are
known to be safe. The problem is, all pictures will not show, just the small
red X, even when enabling the option to download. Outlook Express works fine
but I've gotten to used to Outlook.

Did you give it enough time to download the pictures? I had a similar
message and even with loads of memory and what I consider a fast processor,
it took some time and eventually worked. I see a hardware upgrade in my
future. :-(
