Outlook 97

I upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows XP. I've had a
NUMBER of problems with the update. One of them is that
my Outlook 97 will not open. I have a great deal of
information in that program that I need to get (lists,
addresses, phone numbers etc.)from that program. Does
anyone know how to make it compatible with XP? I've
contacted Microsoft and of course they are of no help.
