Outlook 98 "Remember Password" Problems

I'm using Outlook 98 on a Win XP computer. I've looked
for a solution on the Support site, but the ones listed
for Win 98 or NT don't seem to work.

I set up my profile for OL to check e-mail, and
specify "Remember Password" but still get prompted to
supply my password every time I Send/Receive. Does
anyone have a solution for Win XP? Thanks
